Surgery

She only had two extractions instead of the four that we planned. Since the frenectomy went so well in March she is right where she needs to be. She was so nervous last night, but she is doing great eating a strawberry creamie- thanks gee and aunt Gail for the treats.

The Best Day

On May 22, 2009 Sass graduated from Kindergarten baby sittin in the gravy. The best dad in the whole world surprised her with Taylor Swift tickets(she has a slight obsession with Taylor).
Taylor was at the ESA on May 26, 2009. We met big N right after work and got there just in time to hear Kelly Pickler was sick. Sass loved touring the grounds and seeing the big bus. We bought her the cutest shirt and a cool glow stick. The concert was fun(we took a sign- I have done a lot of things at a concet:) but never taken a sign). What a great young talent- she is a super guitar player. Taylor sang most of her songs and a few others including Justin Timberlake's -What goes around(my favorite). Sass and big N danced in the aisle, I hope she felt special because she is; we are so proud of her for doing so well in school.

Like a good Neighbor Steve was there

I have so many fun things to post, but the last week or so I have been sad. My really good friend and neighbor Steve Allan passed away on Tuesday. I have been crying at the drop of a hat for the last few days. Steve was a big part of our daily lives and there will be a huge void there now. Good neighbors are hard to find and he was the best- EVER. There will never be another Steve. Steve died of lung cancer and he went fast. The last few weeks have been hard watching him slip away- his lovely wife Dianne is so dear to us. I hope Steve knows we will watch over her and make sure she has what she needs. Nate and I love this couple and we know we are blessed to have them in our lives.
Steve hunted all over town this last x-mas to find my kids the "real" life savers books. We loved going to party's at their house, and talking to them out in the front yard. They brought us souvenirs from Sturgis. Nate was able to help Steve with projects around the house lately and we are grateful for that. I will miss this guy so much.
