Moving on

It  has been over two months since we lost Allen. It has been one of the hardest things I have ever been through. Allen loved me and I knew it. He embraced me into his family and was happy that his son choose me. Nate really rolled the dice on a single teenage mom when he asked me out on our first date and from the moment I met my father in law he took me under his wing. My life is great, I have remarkable children, and a wonderful husband and family. I have great friends. I had Allen too, and I loved him. He loved me. When I think of my favorite people he was one of them

I am lucky to be part of a family that gets it. They don't suck, they are not mean, they help one another and they don't judge. I am not perfect and they are ok with that. We miss Allen, it's still hard, and it's going to take time to feel better. It snowed today and I watched Nate shovel our walks and play in the snow with Cassidy. He helped Coby with his snow tires... what would I be without Nate? I hope Joyce can find some peace, she raised a great son. I hope somewhere along the way that can help her not be sad.
A tree on our street. We got at least 4 inches of snow.

The Last days of October 2012

Shannie has us up to her beautiful home up Hobble Creek for dinner and pumpkin carving. It was fun to be with the Crane and Porter Families

Deputy Fife

Cassidy and Grace

Grace and Ember had the same mad hatter costume, very cute. Cassidy was a cop and Kate was a spirit dancer

We took the kids to Lagoon on the October 28th, 2012. Coby came along with his friend Cameron Larson. Haley, Grace and Alta, plus Malik and Mason. Cassidy had never been to Lagoon. Frightmares is pretty fun, you get to go to Lagoon and four haunted houses, we had a wonderful fall day.
