Grandparents

I am very lucky to have wonderful grandparents for my children.
This picture is of Nate's parents and my cute mom, she has her eyes closed but she is in the top two photos.
On Dec 29th my Father in law Allen had a stroke. We were scared at first but he is recovering well and even drove home from dinner the other night. His speech is really improving as is his memory. He has grandkinds that keep him on his toes and Cassidy loves doing puzzles with him on Wednesdays when she goes to his house after school. His recovery is remarkable and he just had a birthday on Feb 3rd, we are so glad he is still having birthdays.
My mom had a hip replacement on Jan 24th. She has been doing ok and is home now after a stay in the hospital and rehab center. Her diabetes gave her some trouble along with her blood presseure and vitamin levels in her blood. A hip surgery is such a stress, she has had many surgeries but this one had me worried the most. I am glad she is home now and doing well.
