RAGNAR 2013...198 miles 2 vans 12 friends, no sleep.

This was the day we headed up. We stayed in Logan and started our run from there. 198 miles from Logan to Park City. I ran 14.6 and Nate did 19.0. Todd's work Precision Time makes a line of sports watches called Red Clover. They sponsered us. It was great. We got shrits, hats and new watches. The Van was from Melin and Lezlies work. We had  very supporive people and we all worked hard too to make this happen. It is not an easy thing . From Thursday to Saturday there is no sleep and you run about every 10 hours.

This is Nate before his first leg. He was runner #3 and I was #4. It was a good spot to be because he would hand off to me before I ran

This is me right before my 2nd leg. This was in Morgan, UT. Nate had just finished about a 5.5 mile run and mine was 4.0.

All Done! Merlin and Lezlie Moyes, Fifes, Amy and Todd Stoddard

Here are a few of our other team members. We didn't ride in their van. and they ran legs 7-12. Brian Barrow, Karlie Wilson and DJ Dickinson(DJ ran over 20 miles)

This in Melisa Dickinson with Karlie behind her and Merlin is on the left. MeLisa was our last runner and it was so good to see her. We all ran to the finish line with her.

Like they say run, rest ,repeat.

Fathers Day

I had a really hard day on fathers day. I tried really hard to be brave for Nate. We got up and went golfing with our cute neighbor Dianne. She is a widow and thought it would be fun to go together since this year would be different, and she could relate with us.
It was fine, we went to Spanish Oaks and Nate and I had fun. We then went to the cemetary and took my dad a flag. We didn't get out to Allens grave since we went on Memorial Day and Joyce went to Idaho for fathers day. I am glad she went to see Grandpa Bart. Me, Nate and Cassidy went our for Sushi and then had an Icecream cake which was Cassidy's gift to her dad. Coby gave Nate a cool new tank top from his new job at Zumiez. The day was great.  Two people are missing. It is hard when someone is missing. It's even harder when you know they aren't coming back. I miss my dad more and more everyday. It's not getting easier. I know it will but right now I feel stuck. I wake up every morning sick. I call it morning sickness. It takes my brain a minute to reset and I start to feel better. This has been difficult because I am a morning person, and at the moment I dread the mornings. It will pass. I miss my dads voice. I miss him.

We have not forgotten Grandpa Allen 2013

Memories of Grandpa Allen
: We went to Cascade springs with Grandpa, Grandma, Ember, Kate and Stacey. We picked leaves out and Grandpa decided who had the best leaf. Stacey won.

: He had a fish tank. He let me name one of the fish Loaf.

:I went on the sailboat with Grandpa and my dad. Grandpa taught all the parts of the sail boat and I earned my badge. Mast, Sail and Bow are all parts of the boat. He let me swim in Utah Lake.

: We used to take weekend trips to Brigham City; we would eat at Maddox and swim at the hotel. We went candy shop. He would buy me fudge.

: He called me Cassie.

: He made corn chowder. I like it.

: His toes were scary and he would show them to us at night when we would sleep over.

: At Yellowstone he got mad at the cars because there were huge lines that were looking at the buffalos.
