Happy Bday Can

Well this is a picture from my phone, kinda blurry.

Happy Bday Canny- she is nine and I can't believe how fast time has gone. She was born three weeks before I became N's bride. I was so excited to become an aunt. Can is a dare devil- she dives head first into swimming pools, skis with both skis pointed straight down the hill, etc...Her dad bought her a huge white cake(she doesn't like chocolate) and we played a mean round of scrabble to celebrate her day. .....and many more!

Sassy Beans

My camera is done. Yes good thing I didn't need pictures of Sassy Bean's dance recital today, Where one little girl didn't show up and Sassy filled in as the main part- glad I can put that in my memory where it will last a week or so. Anyone have a spare camera they want to sell? I'm not in the mood to shop.

No pictures today- My phone does an OK job -it takes a while to upload pictures. Anyways, We went to see the Disney Earth movie today I loved loved loved it four stars****. The Shark part was SO amazing.

The tween is getting eye glasses. He can't drive a 85 mph dragster with blurred vision right? He picked some super cool/ultra modern specs-hopefully I will have a picture soon. Maybe the girls will quit calling-

N and I had our first softball game Friday- we joined a co-ed league with our neighbor friends-we had fun, I got on base twice and I hit the run home that tied the game; N hit the winning run home- N also caught a few fly balls in center field. It was nice to get my butt of the couch and run(jog) around the bases.

Trip to Idaho, Dance Recitals, and Movies

We've been busy. C and I, along with my mom took a quick trip to Idaho to see our cousins new baby- he is so cute, C- loves to hold babies she is quite good at it.

I took the kids to Monsters Vs Aliens, they were being so silly with the 3-d glasses. It was fun. They took the lenses out and wore the glasses around all day.

We have had a few dance recitals lately- here is a quick shot of the ballet costume, it is a very cute performance.

They Say Every Family Has One

C- has this great sense of humor that I can't quite put my finger on. She had such a big day this past Saturday. A runway tea party for her cousin Birdie, then her big dance review. I am the Fool here

I had a crappy day at work Tuesday. I came home, was in a sour mood and snapped at the kids. Laying in bed, N heard a noise in the garage- it was the turtle(that is the tween's new nickname that our neighbor gave him because he is soooo slow) anyways, N got mad at him for whatever reason. Come to find out it was part of a well thought out April fools joke on me.

When I went to get in my car- on this snowing April morning I found a pinata tied to my windshield wipers and door with a cute note from the kids. I had to take a step back. I had been so grouchy with them the night before when all along they had been thinking of me- in a tricky but thoughtful way- I need to stop bringing work home with me it is not worth it at all.
