Rock Lobster

                                        Nate has a high school buddy, Fryer. Fryer married a girl from Boston, and she gets homesick for seafood, especially lobster. They invited us over for dinner that they had overnighted from back east. The lobsters were still alive when we opened the box. They were moving around and if you took the rubberbands off the claws they would SNAP!! scary.... anyways they had the table and floor lined with newspaper, good thing because once we(or Big N and Sara) got really going, food was flying all over, it was an eating experience. Way Fun.

Writing Award

                                         Over the holiday Break, Cas had a writing assignment for the school writing contest. She worked hard on it and even though we could help her a bit, it had to be in her own words. Cas decided to write her "book" on an adventure she had with her cousin Annalynn. We received a call a few weeks ago telling us she won the  2009-2010 Gardner-James Book Award. She was surprised in an award assembly and her book will be published March 19th, 2010. Do we all love the photo of Cob and Cas? I sure do. Both Grandmas along with N, me and Cob, Uncle Mart, Aunt Stace and my friend Sharon showed up for the assembly- she had such a great support team.
