Sounds good grandpa

Good Steve told me awhile ago he was going to restore another truck. I told him I wanted to be involved. He and Mart invited us to go along for the fun event of picking up the truck and driving it home for the first time.
When we were leaving we all went to our cars, and my dad told me he wanted me to drive it home with him, Cob took this wonderful picture of us driving down the road, as the passanger door by Cob kept swinging open

This was taken before leaving the shop.

Shop talk, between the guys here

Cobs telling me a little bit about the interior

Grandpas girls

We know what really matters is "under the hood"

I can't wait for my adventure with my dad- he is thinking of painting her, satin black, or flat black.

As we were driving down the road, and my dad reved her up, Coby said, "sounds good grandpa"

Fall Soccer-

This is Cob's city soccer team. He played for Dixon with his buddies. It was a winning season, with only one or two losses. Since Cob has turned into a teenager the games are more competitive and fun, you get to see the skills the boys have developed. The boy in the lighter blue shirt in front of Cob is Luis. Coby and him have been on the same soccer team since they were 5 yrs old. He and Cobs play well together. I am excited for next year when they go to highschool

Now we are going to be a witch?

Cas has a ghost costume, but the other day she and my neice dressed up like witches and posed at Gee's house. What fun Halloween is when you can dress up in more that one costume.

October so far...

So far Cas has had lots of Halloween outings. The weather has been so nice though, we want to do all the fun things. This is Cas as a ghost. Melissa and her Sister Adrienne put on a party for kids. The kids played Fear Factor, with really gross things. I was helping be the timer so I didn't get any photos of the game, they may have been too yucky anyways.... sardines, sauerkraut, eyeballs, worms- it was the real deal-- and so much fun. We are definitely regulars at Melisa's each year.
I met Shan and her girls at the original Pumpkin Patch in Vineyard just of Geneva Road. This is the place we went when we were little girls. It's charming, because not only is it a pumpkin farm, it is a real farm with fruits and veggies and a green house-

I took this picture of Cas at Harmon's after grocery shopping.I liked that they had some white pumpkins in with the orange ones.

Lucky Seven

During our family vacation we celebrated Cas's bday. We went to the Wild Amimal Park in So.Cal and of course the Beach! This is a photo of my precious 7 year old in Carlsbad.
When we got home, she chose to spend her day with friends watching a movie, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs- more photos to come.
