Hiking again.

I was happy to spend sometime with my cousin Jessica. She is Shannon's baby sister. She lives in Chicago.

I am going to go visit her in the Windy city in August. I am super excited

Gardner-James Book Award Three-Peat



Sunsetview Elementary has a writing contest every year called the Gardner-James Book Award. A former student of the school donates the money for the kids to have a book printed for their families and one to go in the school library



Former Student, I can't remember his name, but he is an AWESOME person.

He named the award after his two favorite teachers from Sunset. Ms Gardner and Ms. James.

This is Cassidy's third time winning the award. Here she is in the library with her other books that are already there.

We are proud of our writer. I hope she continues to love writing. She gets excited each year to enter the contest.

I will take a dozen

I have been married for 12 years. To the most amazing person. He really is. I love him soooo much. I am glad he picked  me to have a home and family with. I am the luckiest lady.

We celebrated with dinner at Pizzera 712(my favorite) and a movie(The Avengers) it was a great show.

Nate rolled the dice on a twenty year old with a 14 month old son, in the prime of his life he chose me. He gave up his roaring twenties to become a dad and love us. He is the most unselfish person I have ever met. I love his smile and confidence. He always has my back. He is the best.

Mothers Day Hike

This is what makes my life. I love these two kids.

Sabbath came along. When he saw the water he fully submurged himself. It was very entertaining.

Remo, Lincoln, and Coby have been friends since they were babies. I can' t believe Linc will be a senior.

May 5th, 2012 Provo City Half Marathon

Nate has been training for a half marathon. He ran the Provo City Half on May 5, 2012. He did it in 1:57:06.That  is such an awesome time. I am quite proud of him. I am lucky to be married to someone who sets goals to better himself. It has been a lot of fun to train with him. He is amazing to me

Nate's best friend Scot ran it and did very well for his first time. Around 2 1/2 hours. I did the 5-K and had an ok time. 32 mins. I need to somehow shave some time off. I am always hitting that 32 minute mark.

Mt. Pleasant Bow Shoot

We took Cassidy down to her 2nd bow shoot. There were 20 targets and she hit 4 (from at least 40 yards)

We spent the day in Mt. Pleasant, UT. Nate's friend Angelo, his son Tj, and Nate's co-worker Steve came along.

I love that Nate has found this hobby for Cassidy. I love the hiking.
