Resolution

We had an uneventful year, and I am OK with that. So many of my loved ones had battles in 2008. I feel fortunate that I have not had to endure those struggles.

January brought a pinch in the pocket book as we put braces on Coby. We had a family Ski day where we took my niece Cannon along. N is super patient as we teach the little ones to ski. March was hard because my mom had a rough time with life. It was hard to watch her/help her sort it all out, while trying to be a wife, mom and banker. She did sort it out and I'm so very proud of her bravery.

In April Nate and I took our first trip alone together since our honeymoon. I had a business trip booked to Arizona and he was able to come along. We went to a Diamondbacks game and stayed at the world famous Biltmore.

The end of the school year was bittersweet, both of my children ended their paths, just to begin new ones, with Coby finishing up grade school and Cass preschool.

The annual trip to Bear Lake was the highlight of the summer. This was back when gas was near $5 a gallon so our 4 day trip cost us almost $200 dollars in gas alone. This is why our year was uneventful, we didn't want to spend more money on gas than necessary. I was able to have my parents to myself with my children for a full day at the beach, this was special because my mom doesn't travel a lot. Coby took Andrew a long as well.

My birthday came with a trip to Capitol Reef with friends. Shanna and I found out we have the same bday. I also had a wonderful birthday dinner with Heather and most of my dear Friends.

Nate's aunt Sherrie passed away at the end of July, we took a quick trip to Idaho for her services

N took his 10 day trip to British Columbia, and of course had a layover the last day- he was gone too long. I kept busy by watching the Summer Olympics that were taking place in China, they were so great- it made the time go by pretty fast.

Coby started Jr. High and is having a great experience, as is Cassidy in Kindergarten.

We found out that the mass Cassidy has had since birth, that is just below her ear, is a calcified lesion, and we have no need to worry.

Fall turned into a recession, with us watching money a little closer. But Nov 4, 2008 was a great day for me, I voted for Barack, he won, and I can't wait to see what he can do.

12-12-08
Teenagers took over my house as Coby turned 13.

The holidays were nice, a lot of time spent at home with N and the kids. I did fun things like: Going to breakfast and a Movie with Amy Sharon and Shan, tying a quilt with Cass, attending The Festival of Trees in honor of Annalynn, skiing in Idaho, having brunch with Angela's family at Sundance and Going out for Sushi with Kara on her bday.

RESOLUTIONS-
1-To not bite off more than I can chew.

2-Work on my house projects.

3-To be better at communicating and being honest

4-Get in better physical shape.

HAPPY 2009!!
